I think Michael is awesome, shame American Idol has moved to Fox8 and I cannot watch it, but it is so great that I can get to see his performances on here. I found out about him on the radio and then I saw an article about him in todays Herald Sun, so I was very anxious to find out more, because they have tipped him to win.
Very proud of my fellow Aussie. I am from Melbourne, by the way and my name is Yvonne.
Well done on your amazing version of Bohemian Rhapsody, Michael |

Yvonne, Hey there! I am so sorry your fox station is NO MORE! I hope that we somehow will be able to continue to bring you the moment by moment on here. It can be tricky at times but it looks like cathygrace has it down pat. It looks like a tough competition this year. I hate you won't actually be able to see the live performances. That has GOT TO SUCK! I am sure this group will do it's best to keep you up to the minute... Also, I am sure someone will come up with avatars, photos and oher stuff to keep you up to date as well. All My Best! Lisa |

I never had pay tv anyway, but American Idol used to get shown on Channel 10 here which is free to air and now for the series I was really wanting to see. Oh well I guess it is just like our Aussie Idol, you guys wouldn't get it over there either and you would have to see it via the net.

Yvonne, True, very true! Interesting though that it suddenly changed... I am sure between this site, the Idol site and others, you will get all you need and then some. You should be honored that he is getting all this attention. I know I would be. All My Best! Lisa |

Sorry about that Yvonne! I was worried about that here where I live too! There was talk about changing from my fox station to another I wouldn't be able to see but they haven't so I have lucked out. We will def. help out as far as the performances!!
Lisa... the font/color is easy. when u go to reply look towards the top. You'll see are boxes that say font..size..color. click on any box & choose what u want & click. It will pop up on the msg. sec. where u type like [#purple] * [#/purple]. Just click in between that where I put the star symbol and start typing. Of course I had to insert the number symbol in front of "purple" & the "/" so you could see what it looked like. Any words typed will have to be in between those like the star symbol is in the example. |

Hey all, I'm looking for anything about Michael's background in Perth. I'm from Perth and we've never heard of him. Where did he used to hang out? What's his old school? Does he have family still here? |

| Hey all... I wanted to address the question about Perth. I have no clue about anything of Michael's life in Perth but I think they would be great interview questions that we could submit for him to answer along the way. I would like to know those things as well. It's interesting to those like me who have never left the US much. I find other areas and cultures/countries quite interesting. |

Let me tell you now, Michael comes from a gorgeous city, I have been there, only once mind you, but that is because my friend who is originally a Melburnian, like myself, has now shifted back here. Her hubby wanted to be close to her family, now he has unfortunately not got many family members left back in Perth. I had accom back then, now I don't, but I think Perth is lovely, lot more quieter than here in Melbourne.
Absolutely huge state it is too, I didn't even make it much out the city, but what I saw I really loved.

Hi there. I'm from Perth too so perhaps you saw the story about him in The Sunday Times today? But for everyone else, it said that he went to Newman College in Churchlands and that he won a tennis scholarship to go to the US, but he was always really interested in music. The story also talked about his time in the two bands he was in. |

Hi Zoe! I was wondering if you would be able to find that article on the web and post a link to it here so we could read it? It would be awesome! |
